Dr. Brizzard has made some improvements here. He was blocked in many of his reforms by the unions. He had a huge job and did not closely oversee some departments. (Thus we now have a huge mess in Pre-k, which the district central office think is just ducky)

I would like to attend the summit, because of several reasons. We need to support our children and make sure that they are getting not just an education but a proper education. We need to talk about ways of improving our students academics and social skills as well. We must keep it real so to speak with our young adults, because they recognize bull when they see it.

I am strongly against the current changes scheduled to take place with the rcsd. We are not in need of charter schools but better qualified rcsd schools and teachers.
